Could this be damage control on Reese's part if she was, in fact, dumped by Jake???? "It's not true. They have not split," Witherspoon's rep told reporters on Sunday afternoon. Tiger Finally Releases His Statement Posted: 29 Nov 2009 04:04 PM PST Tiger Woods is attempting to put a cork in the media's speculation over Friday's car accident! The golf pro has addressed the issue in a pretty general statement, as expected, via Woods' official website. Writes Tiger: "As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore. This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again. This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible. The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false. This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. First David's alcohol-induced seizure and hospitalization, now his ex-wife's DUI!! Those poor kids! The Hoff's ex, Pamela Bach was arrested for driving under the influence Saturday night when a cop pulled Bach over and administered a breathalyzer test and Pam blew a .14!! Bach told reporters that she was attempting to comfort the kids on Saturday night and threw back a few drinks while doing so. Smart! Bach was released after posting her $15,000 bail and said she was "remorseful and mortified" after leaving a Van Nuys jail early Sunday morning. It seems Hasselhoff was at the tail end of a "several-day-bender" when the former Baywatch star was rushed to the hospital because he began seizing. The doctors at Cedars-Sinai agreed that The Hoff should be placed under a 5150 and 5151, which will keep the struggling alcoholic under psychiatric evaluation for the next 72 hours. Sources close to David say they're hoping his most recent hospitalization will lead to The Hoff being places in a "lock-down rehab facility" so he can finally give alcohol the boot.
