Earlier this week, we told you of his plans to launch a comedy for the Peacock network, now it seems that Don Cheadle has a few more tricks under his sleeve. It is being reported that Don has just pitched a new television drama through this production company Crescendo, and has sealed a first-look deal with NBC! The show is a Boston-set cop drama called Boston P.D. about "a homicide detective who discovers he shares a surprising connection to his new partner." Hey, didn't you just get rid of a cop drama? If Chris Brown was bothered by Oprah Winfrey not lending him a helping hand after his "incident" with Rihanna, he must really be hating her now. Oprah has stated that she's against domestic violence and therefore did not offer Chris the opportunity to go on her show and try to clean up his image. But she did allow gospel singer BeBe Winans on her show, despite his domestic violence issues. Burn! Winans was arrested in March of this year on charges of domestic assault after he allegedly pushed his ex-wife to the ground while arguing about child custody issues. He's due back in court early January on those charges. Though it seems that didn't bother Winfrey much as she had BeBe appear on her show last Friday as a judge for a karaoke challenge skit. However, that decision has left many people calling her, what else, but a hypocrite! And Oprah was set to have him return on her show to promote his new reunion project with his sister CeCe Winans, however, it seems all the negative backlash has started to get to Oprah as she's now banned Winans from her show. Sounds like a good time to us! It's going to be Beyonce's first time performing in Northern Africa and Islamic conservatives in Egypt are slamming it as an "insolent sex party" that threatens the country's "social peace and stability" and encourages "vice and debauchery." Surely Beyowulf doesn't have that kind of power? Some Islamic lawmakers are protesting the show, calling for a governmental ban on the "nudity concert." A Facebook campaign in support of the conservatives stance is almost at 10,000 members. But the show will go on! Beyonce is still set to perform at the Red Sea Resort of Port Ghalib, 100 miles south of Cairo, and security is going to be TIGHT to protect not only Bey, but the concert-goers as well! With Rihanna's new album Rated R being released on November 23rd, the singer and her people are doing everything they can to make sure it's a success, especially after the mixed reaction the first few singles have received. AND also considering that so many artists are releasing their albums that same day like Adam Lambert, Shakira, and even our lovely Lady GaGa. So RiRi has teamed up with Nokia to do something special. On November 16th, Nokia will stream a live performance of Rihanna in London for fans to get an exclusive first listen of her album! The event will allow viewers to preview tracks from RiRi's record and the whole thing will be done from a secret location in London. A man in Tennessee has shared with the world his "miracle": Every morning he wakes up to find the face of Jesus Christ staring right back at him from his car! Hallelujah! Jim Stevens says that the condensation on his driver's side window continues to form in the shape of the face of Jesus. When it happened the first time, he assumed it would just evaporate. But instead, for the last two weeks, the image reappears in the exact same place every morning when he wakes up. As you might imagine, the folks in town a pretty riled up about it and Jim says he won't be washing his truck for awhile! Ah, simple-minded folks are so easily entertained. It is our strong suggestion that the producers of the show Glee be hobbled if they don't comply! If you are a fan of Glee and you have been waiting for Jane Lynch's big number, you're going to have to wait awhile, since there are no plans as of yet to get the coach of the Cheerios to belt out a tune. But it's not because Jane doesn't want to! Quite the contrary, she is "campaigning strongly" for her singing debut and she won't rest until she gets it. And what song does Jane want to sing? Her suggestion was I've Been To Paradise But I've Never Been To Me by Charlene. What would U like to hear her sing? [Image via WENN.] |

Although Shrek the Musical didn't do as well as hoped, the movies have always done BIG business! Now, Dreamworks execs are hoping to cash in on their franchise making a Shrek spinoff! The concept? It'll be centered on Shrek's secondary sidekick, Puss in Boots. Tom Wheeler is writing the flick's screenplay for the spinoff, which will detail how Puss and Shrek first met. Joining the cast to voice the flick will be Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek. And Zach Galifianakis is said to be in negotiations to voice Humpty Dumpty. The DreamWorks Animation movie is set to hit theaters on November 4, 2011. |

James Gandolfini Assaults photographer from Guest of a Guest on Vimeo. You're not on HBO anymore, buddy! You can't just go around hitting people in real life! Actor James Gandolfini reportedly assaulted a photographer on Halloween who was trying to get some footage of him shopping in New York's West Village. After telling the photographer he doesn't "wanna relax" and that he's going to "break his f*ckin' face," you can hear the photog's mom yell at Gandolfini to get away from her son!
