After just TWO episodes! The first casualty of the new fall TV season! We saw this one coming a mile away! The Ashton Kutcher-produced and Mushy Fartone-starring show, The Beautiful Life, is dead. The CW just cancelled the drama about pretty models after some very ugly ratings. To be fair, they didn't really give it a chance. Cancelled after just two episodes???? Ouch! Production on the NYC-shot show, which had been filming its seventh episode, was shut down Friday. Hopefully this won't give Mushy another tooth ache for reals! [Image via WENN.] |

Well, everyone's been making up holidays lately! In honor of the show's 20th anniversary, Mayor Michael Bloomberg has officially made September 23 Law and Order Day. What that means exactly, we do not know. Actor Anthony Anderson who plays Detective Kevin Bernard had the suggestion of "free doughnuts for the day across the city." The cast and crew had a party earlier this week to celebrate the 20th anniversary, with former Law and Order cast members in attendance, including Angie Harmon and Benjamin Bratt. Anderson adds:

Lindsay Lohan just has one question for her followers on Twitter: "Can't a girl just have fun?" Lindsay is in Sigapore, getting paid to hosti the F1 Rocks concerts and from what we read off her Twitter updates, we think she might be having a good time. Not too good of a time, though, since she is still at least 75% coherent in what she writes and she seems to having a problem with the promoters and her privacy. Singapore proves no less interested in her pAArtying ways then we are, so it seems she was hounded while attending the events. La Loca Tweets:

Luckily, he's just fine! Jackson Rathbone was injured on the set of Eclipse in Canadialand on Wednesday and immediately taken to the hospital. The actor plays the role of Jasper Hale, the adopted brother of R-Patz's Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga. Summit Entertainment released the following statement regarding the incident: "Actor Jackson Rathbone of the Twilight Saga movies, was slightly injured yesterday during a fight scene rehearsal. As a precaution, he was driven to the hospital and checked out by a doctor. He's fine and is back at work on the set of Eclipse today." Phew! So glad he's okay! [Image via WENN.] |

Well nobody thought she could do it, but after 83 shows Miz Britney Spears has her two FINAL concerts on her North American Circus tour in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay this weekend! She did it! And she didn't cancel any performances! We hear that she won't be performing again for a VERY long time, so this could be your last chance to catch Brit Brit in action for awhile! After Vegas the pop princess is heading down under for 6 shows in Australia and then the tour is ov-ah! It's been entertaining to say the least and we LOVED being a part of it! Sad to see it end, but with her next single, 3, coming out next week we'll still be able to get our Britney fix! Congrats on your successful tour, bb! [Image via WENN.] |

What's the hurry?! The day after their respective bachelor/bachelorette parties, Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian hit the streets of 90210 Friday morning in search of the perfect love nest! And by love nest, we mean a drool-worthy man$ion!!! The couple are in the market for a house ranging between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet with 5 to 6 bedrooms, a pool and room for a basketball court. | Hugh Hefner Biopic Being Written By Diablo Cody? Posted: 25 Sep 2009 02:45 PM PDT
Diablo Cody is an Oscar-winning screenwriter, with a background fairly suitable to handle such a project as the Hugh Hefner biopic. But is she really doing it? All we know, thanks to a little Tweet directly from Hef himself, is that he took a meeting with Diablo to discuss the "the Brian Grazer Playboy film". The film he is referring to is the buzzed about biopic that has everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio to Robert Downey Jr. being pegged to play the master Playboy himself. Nothing solid has been said about the flick since 2007, when another writer was pegged to write the script. Two years is a long time and a lot has changed. Maybe Hef is looking for a quirky, female take on his life. Wouldn't that be interesting?! Neither Diablo or Hef brought up the meeting again on their Twitters, so we're still unsure what the meeting was about, but we really hope it is some good news for Diablo. [Image via WENN.] |
