We wouldn't let the Twilight gang get wind of this. Chances are they're not making anywhere near what these kids wrangle in. Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have entered the Guinness World Records book as the highest grossing lead actors of the decade. Thanks to the wild success of the Harry Potter films, the young stars were able to rake in a hefty sum in the last 10 years. And it'll probably suprise you to learn though that it's actually Emma who came ahead in the bank, bringing in $753.7 million last year while Daniel only brought in $558 million. Somehow, she edged ahead another $200 million doing the kid's flick The Tale of Despereaux. She didn't even have to really do much. Just talk into a microphone. Hope the kids at Brown don't get wind of this. Emma will be footing the bill every time they go out. Or maybe she is a cheap muggle! [Image via WENN.] |

The Public Theater in New York put on a cheeky little play last night called The Piven Monologues and naturally Jeremy Piven served them with a "cease and desist" letter. The play is based on the Pivert's famed "mercury poisoning" incident leading him to pull out from Broadway show Speed-the-Plow. There's another performance of The Piven Monologues set for next month, but we'll have to see what happens. Piven's attorney stated that they aren't saying the theater can't do the play, but they can't make "defamatory statements" about their client. Oh, lighten up! What happened to laughing about it? The 24th season of The Oprah Winfrey Show premiered yesterday to some HUGE numbers. Opening with Oprah's highly anticipated interview with Whitney Houston, the show was up 45 percent from last season's premiere. As we reported earlier, President Barack Obama was questioned about the whole Kanye West/Taylor Swift incident. And according to Pres. Obama, Kanye's a Jackass! Of course, the conversation was part of an off-the-record segment of his CNBC interview, but the audio clip has managed to leak. It's nice to see Obama can be real and honest with his opinions. It's getting Life & Style is reporting that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are back to their old tricks again and are spending a lot of quality time together. An insider has told the mag that three days prior to a dinner date with co-star and rumored new boyfriend Gerard Butler, Maniston invited John to a get together at the Arquettes! The source says:
No, no. Courteney, you made a somewhat decent decision in a life partner. Why are you letting her do this AGAIN???! What kind of friend are you??? The insider also says:

Michael Jackson's doctor, Arnold Klein is suing Dr. Steven Hoefflin for defamation of character. Klein is upset about Dr. Hoefflin's statements in The Sun saying that right after Jackson's death "[Dr. Conrad] Murray definitely called Klein because Klein taught him how to administer Propofol…Murray would have counted on Klein to be the source of Propofol and guide him on its use." Shady, shady. Klein adds that Hoefflin's conduct was done "with the intent to injure and harm Dr. Klein." We wonder why Dr. Hoefflin would have made such a statement? The answer is yes, but not without problems. Whitney Houston continues her in-depth interview with Oprah today as she talks about how she is overcoming her need for drugs. She explains that she "prays" the temptation away, no matter how long it takes. She also talks about her tumultuous marriage and how she was able to finally walk away from it. Whitney refers to herself as a "soldier girl", but it took her own little girl, Bobbi Kristina Brown, to convince her it was time to leave Bobby Brown. Whitney reveals what Bobbi Kristina said to her. "She said, 'You don't deserve that and neither do I.'" The girl surely has the strength of her mama, who said that "words can't explain how proud" she is of her daughter. Lots of more profound insight into Whitney's world will surely be revealed today.
