Paula Responds! Posted: 10 Sep 2009 04:30 PM PDT So it was finally about time. Paula Abdul has officialy released a statement about her new replacement on American Idol, Ellen DeGeneres. Says Miz Abdul: "AMERICAN IDOL is a fantastic show that offers an invaluable platform to young talent. Ellen DeGeneres is wildly funny and talented in her own right. I wish her and the show only the best of luck." Inneresting. We think Paula's hating the fact that the execs at Fox have officially replaced her. What do U think? [Image via WENN.]

Never Say Never, Megan! Posted: 10 Sep 2009 04:15 PM PDT Megan Fox has vowed never to make a sex tape. You may assume that she is attempting to show her classy side by demonstrating some good moral judgement, but really what we have here is a simple case of self-loathing - she doesn't want to see herself doing the nasty: "It would take one shot of me not looking good and I would not be able to have sex ever again, because I would always just see myself looking like a hippo having sex." A hippo? Really? Are you hiding some mammal fat somewhere we aren't aware of? Or do you just bloat up during sex? Furthermore, while she is mainly concerned about scarring herself from having sex again, she does recognize that others will judge her as well and she doesn't want to provide us all with the satisfaction: "Everything you say gets judged, everything you do gets judged. Literally all I have left are my private parts and I don't want to share them with the world. I'd like to keep them private. That's why they're called that!" You'd like to but it doesn't mean that you will. We have a feeling we'll get to see those lady bits sooner or later. It's just the nature of the biz and young Hollywood - you girls just can't seem to keep your clothes on. But prove us wrong. Set an example. Glee Rises While Dance Falls Posted: 10 Sep 2009 04:00 PM PDT Everybody loves Glee! (Well, almost.) Over 7.3 million people tuned in to the premiere last night not only winning its hour in the ratings, but making the show the highest-rated scripted fall premiere for a new program in two years! Suck on that, Melrose Place! But the Fox summer favorite So You Think You Can Dance premiere didn't do so hot, down 21% from its summer premiere. The network blames being up against Obama's speech, but we think viewers might be on Dance overload. The summer run just ended last month! What do U think? Did U watch Fox last night? Paula Is Stunned By Ellen Posted: 10 Sep 2009 03:45 PM PDT With the exciting news breaking yesterday that Ellen DeGeneres is going to be the 4th judge on the next season of American Idol, Paula Abdul is said to be "very upset" at being permanently replaced. A source close to Fox says that Paula, like Ellen, was surprised by the news because she had no warning of the announcement and found out the same time as the public. Supposedly Paula held out some hope that a last-minute deal could have been worked out for her return to Idol, but it's become quite clear that Fox is moving in a different direction. Ellen Dishes To RyRy On Idol!!! Posted: 10 Sep 2009 03:30 PM PDT We wonder how many jobs they have between them! As previously reported, Ellen DeGeneres will be replacing Paula Abdul as American Idol judge, so it seems apropos that the funnywoman found time to call her new costar, Ryan Seacrest on Thursday to chat On Air. Here are some HIGHlights: On her qualifications for being a judge: "The people are the ones that choose the American Idol. Ultimately it doesn't come down to some expert in the music industry, it comes down to everybody at home that says 'that's the person I relate to, that's the person that I'm going to buy music from'." On her judging style: "I'm not going to be mean, I hate when Simon [Cowell] is that mean. You can be constructive and criticize somebody that's helpful instead of mean spirited." On Paula Abdul's departure: "I hope Paula [Abdul] is okay with it. I don't want anybody to think I took Paula's job away. I feel like she was gone and then everybody was looking for somebody else, then I stepped in. I certainly don't want to be that person that is the evil taking Paula's job away." Nicolas Cage Leaving The Green Hornet, Rogen Can't Catch A Break! Posted: 10 Sep 2009 02:45 PM PDT Yet another setback for Seth Rogen's The Green Hornet! Nicolas Cage, who was in talks to play the villain Mr. X in the film, has bailed on the project. It's being reported that there was a conflict with the studio bosses about his deal. Director Stephen Chow left the film as well earlier this year, but was quickly replaced by Michel Gondry. This doesn't sound good, Seth! It's not known yet whether or not Cage's leaving will affect the production schedule. It was recently announced that the Green Hornet release date was pushed back and will be hitting theaters in December 2010. We'll see! [Image via WENN.]
