Call 911! "Joe Francis Is Taking My Couch!" Posted: 07 Sep 2009 06:09 PM PDT Some time ago, Brody Jenner punched Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis in the face and the two have been beefing ever since. The incident has become a lot of he-said, she-said, and police have been trying to figure out the logistics of the incident. New information has come in now, as police records show that Joe's former girlfriend, Abbey Wilson had called 911 on Joe several hours after their most recent fight last night. The reason? He was taking her stuff! He arrived with a van and three moving men to remove some of the wonderful parting gifts she had collected from him after they broke up, including a love seat and thousands of dollars worth of clothes. The story we're hearing spewing out of Abbey's trap is that Joe wanted her to lie about the incident, since Joe could go back to jail if the police feel he violated the terms of his early release. When he allegedly asked her to lie, she claims she refused, so he came over to seek his revenge – and his furniture. Joe says he came for the things he gave her as punishment for not telling the truth. And the plot thickens… when it really should just be forgotten! [Image via WENN.]

Mariah Carey Gets Some Praise (Finally)! Posted: 07 Sep 2009 03:38 PM PDT Mariah Carey's new album may be lackluster, but at least she's really good in this new movie! Mimi's new flick, Precious, is garnering her some rave reveiws. One of the best came from EW's Oscar Watchers Dave Karger and Missy Schwartz. They had some wonderful things to say about MiMi: Dave Karger: You and I are also both very impressed with Mariah Carey's performance in this movie. Missy Schwartz: I couldn't believe that I was looking at Mariah Carey. We're all aware of this superstar-larger-than-life-far-from-down-to-earth persona that she has and it couldn't be further from what we see in this movie. She has straggly hair. She wears ill-fitting frumpy clothes - Rayon, I guess. DK: Native Rayon which she hated. MS: I'm not surprised, I would hate them too. And I even detect a little, possibly, maybe it was bad angle, facial hair. It is so unflattering but she's so good and she works it. She plays a social worker who's working with this young, troubled teenager and she's amazing. I wanted to see more of her on screen. Bravo, MiMi! Maybe it's time to start thinking about a career shift. On second thought, we'll wait till we see it before we give you that advice! [Image via WENN.]

Captain EO Returns! Posted: 07 Sep 2009 03:18 PM PDT The folks over at Disneyland are said to be announcing the return of Captain EO to the park this January. An outcry of park and Michael Jackson fans has urged for the return of the attraction to honor his memory. Captain EO was a 17 minute long 3D space adventure created especially for the Disney parks, starring MJ and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. We hear that official word will come from the head-honchos on Sept 10th. We think this is a nice tribute to MJ. It truly was an awesome show! Are U excited for the return of Captain EO? Stallone Sues 2 Aussies??? Posted: 07 Sep 2009 02:48 PM PDT It's what a Perezlicious reader told us. Two Aussie radio show hosts are allegedly getting sued for doing impersonations of Sylvester Stallone during prank call sketches. The rumor is that Sly heard the impersonations done by Ant & Becks, better known as The Benchwarmers, and was none too happy about it. But we did some digging and we can tell you that this one is FALSE and, more so, we can give you the source from which it started: The Benchwarmers! It seems, through their Twitter account, the Aussie's started said rumor to see how far it would go. We welcome said rumor to the great U.S.A., but this is where it will end.
