Although NBC are keeping mum over the whole "torture" debacle involving Speidi in Costa Rica, ITV, the production company responsible I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, have released a statement in an attempt to put the rumors to rest.

Writes ITV:

ITV Studios, producers of the series, state that press reports at this time are untrue. ITV has been producing this format around the world for many years and the health of the celeb participants are of the utmost importance. A medic and a doctor are present at the location at all times for all participants. All allegations of the celebrities being deprived of food and water are completely untrue.

We can't wait to hear Spencer's rebuttal!!

Carradine's Family Demand Investigation By The FBI

David Carradine's family are calling for the immediate investigation of Carradine's death by the FBI.

Attorney Mark Geragos told Larry King on Friday night that the Carradines are determined to get to the bottom of their loved one's mysterious death.

"They want an investigation," Geragos said on Larry King Live. "I would think that the people in Bangkok would want to support an investigation and allow the FBI to go over there and assist in the investigation so we can get the answers to the questions."

David was reportedly found hanging from his hotel room's closet on Thursday in Thailand, but with the whisperings of Carradine's hands bound together above his head, the conclusion that the actor committed suicide is looking less and less likely.

Says Carradine's co-manager Tiffany Smith: "All I can tell you is that David did not commit suicide. I can tell you that 100 percent. He would never commit suicide."

The results of the autopsy are said to be ready in three weeks time, so until then, the rumors of autoerotic asphyxiation and murder will continue to swirl.

Doperty Arrested (Again)

What a lost cause!

Pete Doherty was detained and arrested at an airport in Geneva on Friday due to the druggie's bad behavior on a British Airways flight.

Seems that ol' Petey was shooting up in the airplane's bathroom and couldn't wait until he got back to his seat (in coach!) to take a cat nap!

Flight attendants found Doherty hunched over in the pint-sized bathroom and a hypodermic needle in the trash.

Ew!

A passenger on the British Airways flight to Switzerland relayed the situation to reporters:

A few people on the plane recognised (sic) Pete and he went to the bathroom more than halfway into the flight. He had been in there for about 25 minutes when the announcement came over the tannoy for the crew to prepare the flight for landing. The crew knocked on the door but Pete didn't come out. They eventually managed to get in 10 minutes before the plane landed. Pete was taken back to his seat and he looked completely out of it.

Although police can not confirm why Doperty was arrested, they did say the Babyshambles trainwreck paid a fine and was released later that day.

French Open Interrupted By Crazy Fan!

An over-zealous fan of Barcelona accosted Swiss tennis player Roger Federer at the French Open on Sunday afternoon!

The man hopped over the barrier and onto the court, waving the flag of Barcelona's soccer team (soccer? at a tennis match?) and tried to place a cap on Federer's head before he was dragged off by security.

The man, who was arrested and may be charged with "illegally entering a sports stadium," is supposedly a fan of the Swiss tennis champ and had no intentions of harming Federer.

He's just bat shit crazy!

P.S. Federer beat Sweden's Robin Soderling to win only tennis grand slam tennis tournament that had eluded him.

Heidi Diagnosed With Gastric Ulcer Due To "Torture"!!

Details of Heidi's emergency trip to a Costa Rican hospital are starting to spill out!

The Hills star was reportedly "convulsively throwing up" due to the 'torture' she was subjected to on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!!

Heidi was diagnosed with a gastric ulcer, and has since left the hospital after being put on a round of antibiotics.

And one of the primary causes of gastric ulcers? Stress!

As both punishment and in order to redeem themselves to their fellow I'm a Celebrity… cast mates, Speidi spent one day and one night in a dark room with the bare essentials to survive - water, rice and beans.

A chatty cathy on the set of the NBC reality program has described the "punishment" as "the same as Guantanamo Bay."

Hey, they didn't have to return to the show!

Although it is more than a little shady that NBC Alternative Programming VP, Paul Telegdy, described the treatment of Spencer and Heidi as torture!

"They are now going to be examined, and their value system utterly deconstructed …These people really are going to bare their souls," Telegdy told Ryan Seacrest last week.

Spencer has given his current lawyer the boot because Pratt is claiming he was the one who convinced the two to stay, and has plans to sue the pants off NBC.

No surprises here!

With the "torture" of Speidi, you can bet the ratings for Monday night's show are going to be phenomenal!

Surprisingly, Brit Brit's handlers allowed the singer to have a night out on the town in London after finishing her first week of the UK leg of her Circus tour.

Spears dropped by Maddox nightclub on Saturday night before calling it an early night and heading to bed.

There were no ripped fishnets, no sunglasses at night, no late night convenience store stops.

Just a gaggle of bodyguards with an utterly bored looking Britney.

Oh, how the times have changed!

Carradine Photo Leaked To Thai Tabloid

A photo of David Carradine hanging from the closet in his hotel room has been released to the Thai media, and Carradine's family is fuming, understandably.

Robert's family is "profoundly disturbed" at the photo reportedly taken by the Thai forensics team which depicts "a naked body suspended from a bar in the closet, with his hands apparently bound together above his head."

The photo appeared on the cover of Thai Rath, a popular tabloid in the Asian country.

Awful.

David's brother Keith has released the following statement on behalf of the entire family: "The family wants it understood that, per attorney Mark Geragos, any persons, publications or media outlets will be fully prosecuted for invasion of privacy and causing severe emotional distress if the photos are published."
