Hey, he can't play a werewolf forever. There are only four books, people! The youngest hot commodity to come out of the Twilight franchise, Taylor Lautner, is in El Lay doing photoshoots, avoiding the paps, and fielding offers for roles after Twilight is finished. And, to think, Summit Entertainment almost got rid of this kid! Now, the 17-year-old hearthrob has been seen meeting with the legendary director Gary Marshall about being cast in one of three of the director's next films, the biggest of which would be a role in Valentine's Day, starring heavyweight actors Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway,Jennifer Garner, and Ashton Kutcher. Why are the Jonas Brothers such good little boys? Just ask their Mom! Denise Jonas is opening up about her famous kids and the steps she took in raising three fine, upstanding virginal boys in the July issue of Good Housekeeping. And she sounds kind of strict! Baby JoBro Nick admits: "She makes us be careful in the hotel room…[She makes us] put back the towels, straighten the bed." Hey, Mom. Hotels have people who can do that for them. They're called maids! But Mom doesn't just stop there. Oh no! She has taught her boys everything from how to behave on the road to good manners to the all important, safe sex. And it would also seem that Mom is the only sensible on in the bunch. Mama Jonas confesses: "They are men. They have desires. They have testosterone. If they make a mistake, I'm not going to hate them. I don't think they are above or below being seduced. I would be foolish if I thought that. I pray for them." Wow. Talk about an honest answer. We recommend the young ladies go out and pick up this issue when it comes out and read up on Mama Jonas if they ever want a shot at a JoBro. Socialite Paris Hilton and singer Rihanna have something in common. The two apparently like to wear the same outfits. But, this time, it's Paris who's the repeat offender. RiRi was spotted in New York wearing the Alexander Wang dress almost two weeks ago. She was seen headed to Kanye West's Manhattan apartment while rocking her new tall hair 'do. Fast forward to Tuesday night when Miz Hilton was spotted wearing the same dress, worth almost $800, in NYC outside the Ed Sullivan Theater for the Late Show With David Letterman. What do U think? Christina Ricci and her fiance, comedian Owen Benjamin have called off their engagement. According to a souce, "They really are still close. They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They're definitely still friends." We all know that is a lie!!! They did not go from being engaged to friends in a week! | D.C. Pastors Rally Behind Marriage Equality! Posted: 03 Jun 2009 04:30 PM PDT
Over 100 pastors in Washington D.C. have united in their support for same-sex marriage!!! Jesus would approve! These brave religious leaders have spoken out in opposition to the pastors, primarily African American, who protested D.C.'s recognition of same-sex marriages from other states last month. "God is love and love is for everyone," said Rev. Dennis and Christine Wiley of the Covenant Baptist Church in D.C. Bishop Harry Jackson of the Hope Christian Church in Maryland was quoted as saying "I'd rather be biblically courageous than politically correct," during the time of protests against equality in May. Rev. Wiley, who is African American himself, is challenging the old fashioned ideals of his fellow pastors against gay marriage. "Because those of us who have been oppressed ought to be the last ones to oppress," Wiley stated. So far, 137 leaders have signed a declaration of support for marriage equality in D.C. What's Twilight director's Catherine Hardwicke's next literary film adaptation? Shakespeare! Hardwicke is reuniting with Lords of Dogtown star Emile Hirsch to "create a modern-day supernatural thriller based on Hamlet." Hardwicke says she never expected to be adapting Shakespeare and admitted that the task is daunting, but assures everyone that "You will understand everything without having a copy of Shakespeare for Dummies with you."
