Gayken Back Tracks!

Clay Aiken takes it all back!

After ranting on his personal blog in which Gayken slammed both Idol runner-up Adam Glambert and the last handful of AI winners, Clay is now apologizing to the closeted singer!

Gayken wrote on Saturday morning:

I'll be the first to admit that my opinion is just that, only my opinion, but for as much as some of the bloggers seem to dislike me and care so little about my thoughts, they sure can waste a lot of their space on what I say! If only many of them took the time to pay attention to important things like the US economy and the welfare of the world's children. But… nah… I could blog about that type of stuff anytime and most wouldn't think twice, but let me say something that they can pick and choose quotes and misinterpret me… and it's showtime! I never assumed my opinion mattered so much! I guess I may have been wrong.

That said, since my previous blog got dissected like a biology lab frog, i suppose I should clarify and even retract some of what I wrote. I am sure that some were upset by my choice of words describing my opinion of a performance I heard from Adam Lambert. I hope no one actually believed that blood truly poured forth from my ears when I heard him. I obviously meant it as a colorful statement to imply that I did not enjoy what I heard. Any performer hopes that their music will appeal to all people, but no singer realistically expects it to. God knows, I am SURE there are PLENTY of people who can't stand to hear me sing either. I wouldn't dream of assuming that, and I am sure that far worse things have been said about my performances than I would even venture to type here. To me, that's fine. I don't expect unanimous, nor even majority support for my music. But, my guess is Adam doesn't either. I would not venture to make judgements [sic] on the personality or demeanor of anyone I don't know, so none of what I said in my previous blog was directed as a 'slam' on Adam as a person. At the same time, I wouldn't dream of slamming him as an entertainer. He does what he does, because he enjoys it, and he obviously has many fans who enjoy it as well. If what I said in my previous blog regarding my impression of a single performance from Adam upset or offended any of his fans, I expect that the mature ones will realize that it was simply a poorly worded metaphor describing my personal tastes. The only person I would really dream of apologizing to is Adam. And the irony is, if he's smart he couldn't give a crap what I think of his 'Ring of Fire' performance. As an entertainer, Adam knows that one person's opinion of one performance really matters a little less than zero, in the grand scheme of things. He could not have gotten on Idol (nor made it as far as he did) without an immense amount of talent. He surely doesn't need my approval to know he has a gift. At the same time, he realizes that amazing talent doesn't always equal universal appeal. (I could NEVER have the amount of skill and talent that ballet dancers have! that's talent! But, I don't particularly enjoy it!) I am sure that I will have plenty of opportunities in the coming years to hear Adam sing. I imagine he'll be around for years to come. But in the meantime, I definitely don't want to stoop to the level of so many negative freaks on the internet… so, I do apologize to Adam for my colorful (and negative) choice of words. I hope he can forgive me. I imagine he doesn't give a damn! God knows he shouldn't.

Uh, yeah, we're pretty aware of the fact that blood didn't pour from your ears when you first heart Glambert, Clay!

If you didn't want your words to be pulled apart, maybe you shouldn't have posted it online for the entire world to see???

Or have you forgotten how to use a pen and paper???

Dumb!

Oh, Fugly!

Why??????

The usually sometimes fashionably dressed singer was spotted in London with the Black Eyed Peas attending a BBC Radio One interview.

And it was nice to see Fergie wasn't a total diva and even took time to sign autographs for her fans.

She was sporting a "unique"-looking braided ponytail. The 34-year-old also opted to wear some futuristic, mirror-inspired sunglasses.

We're totally feeling the sunglasses, just not too sure about the hair.

What do U think?

Thursday night, Madame Tussauds at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas premiered its first of a kind was figure.

Of a douchebag!

The museum set on display a wax figure of "magician" Criss Angel.

It's hard to tell which one looks worse.

But we're guessing his wax figure probably smells like shit too!

Warn Your Ears, Jessica Biel Is Singing.

Yes, it's true. Timberpuss' girl will be belting out a tune this summer at the Hollywood Bowl. Jessica Biel miraculously sung her way into the production of the musical Guys and Dolls.

She tells Parade:

"I auditioned for a summer production of Guys and Dolls at the Hollywood Bowl. I thought, 'Well, I'm not a soprano anymore, but I guess I'll go in for it.' I literally walked in and said, 'I can do this song but we're going to have to drop it down a few notes.' Actually, I did pretty well and I got the part of Sandy, which I'll be performing later this summer."

Way not to know you character, Jess. You're playing Sarah Brown. Sandy is from Grease, which is a completely different musical, in a completely different time frame!

Ugh, please know your shit before you enter the world of musical theatre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, supposedly Jessica has had some experience in this area and had high hopes for herself:

"I know nobody really knows this about me, but I really started in musical theater doing Annie and The Sound of Music. I wanted to be Whitney Houston. That was my dream."

Some dreams should remain on the back burner, sweetie.

Let's just hope there won't be an album after this debacle.

Do U think Jessica can sing?

Winehouse vs Duffy

The theme song for the new 007 movie is up for grabs and the studios two choices for a performer are Amy Winehouse and Duffy.

The two females are said to be considered again, since they both were rumored to be providing the theme to Quantum of Solace. Only Winehouse had a real chance, but producer Mark Ronson claimed she "wasn't ready" to head into the studio.

Doesn't look like she will be ready this time around either, folks. Our money is on Duffy.

Who do U think should get the song?

Mushy Showing Why She Hasn't Worked In Years

Two previews from Mushy Fartone's latest acting endeavor for The CW, A Beautiful Life, have popped up online.

The TV show is the story of a group of models sharing an apartment in NYC together, with Fartone portraying the role of a supermodel struggling to save her career.

Thoughts????

We liked this show better back in the 90's when it was called Models Inc.!!

Assault Charge Will Most Likely Be Dropped Against Kiefer!

Kiefer Sutherland is off the hook!

Although the two aren't exactly on the way to becoming BFF's, Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough has decided not to be a "complaining witness" in the assault case against Sutherland.

Sutherland reportedly head-butted McCollough earlier this month at a Met Gala after-party in an attempt to play hero to actress Brooke Shields. The headbutt resulted in a broken nose and bruised ego for the designer.

Lucky break!

Wonder what cau$ed McCollough to change his mind??
