Candy Spelling is reportedly worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and she's the stingiest bitch around! The heiress to her deceased husband's fortune has just been sued by a former employee for wrongful termination. Turns out one of Candy's maids was being cheated out of her salary each day. According to the lawsuit filed yesterday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, the former maid says she was forced by Spelling to clock out of work each day for two 10 minute breaks. But the maid wasn't getting paid for her breaks. By law, aren't full time employees allowed/required to take a 10 minute break after working four hours? And that's a paid break too! But not according to Candy's people, who claim they were required to give the maid breaks, though not required to pay for those breaks. As for the maid, she obviously got fired and is now seeking unspecified damages. That's code word for a shit-load of money. Time to pay up Candy! [Image via WENN.] |

As we mentioned earlier this week, Hulk "I love OJ Simpson" Hogan said some very interesting comments during a recent interview. Such as "I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody's throat. I totally understand OJ. I get it." Linda Hogan has already spoken out about these insensitive comments, and now it's their fame-whoring daughter Brooke Hogan's turn. But the peroxide blonde is actually defending her dad. Say what???? Brookie-poo says:

As we previously mentioned, race car driver and former Dancing with the Stars champ, Helio Castroneves was indicted in Miami for allegedly not paying taxes on more than $5 million! Castroneves and two others were accused of using "an offshore Panamanian shell corporation Seven Promotions to conceal and disguise the true and correct amount of Helio Castroneves' income from the Internal Revenue Service." Well, there's good news for the tax evader. A jury has just acquitted him today of tax evasion! The two others involved, his sister (who was also his tax manager) and his attorney, were also acquitted. Though the jury kept the conspiracy count on Helio and his sis. The three could have faced up to six years in prison if found guilty. Looks like Helio has a lot to celebrate now. And we bet he paid his taxes, in full, this year! [Image via WENN.] |

Celebrity justice at it's finest! Redmond O'Neal, the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, will not be going to prison after all! WTF??????? The dumbass has two felony drug possessions on his record, but Friday morning a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge transfered his cases to a court that will send the drug-addled O'Neal to a rehab facility instead of behind bars! This will be his fourth trip to rehab - the last being only earlier this month! O'Neal was booted from the rehab facility due to "a dirty test"! Thankfully, the Judge said Redmond manages to eff up his fourth go-around at rehab, he's going straight to prison! Will the 4th time be the charm??? |
