Britney Spears is a wanted woman! As the pop star gets set to return home to perform two sold out shows in Los Angeles this week, a lawyer is trying to get her to court to testify in a case againt him. Jon Eardley is the attorney who claims that Brit Brit hired him to try and undo her conservatorship. He's filed legal papers demanding that Spears appear at a trial in which Eardley has been accused of harassing Britney and her family. In the court docs, Eardley notes that Britney will be performing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on April 16 and 17. He says if she's well enough to perform, she's well enough to testify on two points — did she authorize Eardley to take legal action on her behalf and did Eardley really cause her "substantial emotional distress." He does bring up a good point - if she's well enough to entertain thousands of people and lipsynch and dance the night away, then she can answer a few questions, right? The judge will have to decide if Brit Brit is competent enough to testify and if it's fair to drag her into court. Stay tuned! [Image via WENN.] |

Angelina Jolie was spotted again on the set of her latest flick, Salt, in New York City this week wearing a fur-trimmed cape along with what looked to be a matching chinchilla-trimmed Russian hat. The images of Ange, a UN Goodwill Ambassador, wearing clothes made from furry little creatures got many PETA members fuming mad. But, the film's publicists have now confirmed that Ange wasn't wearing real fur. Instead they used synthetic materials in her outfit. Nice to see Jolie doesn't sell herself out for a film! As we mentioned earlier this week, some businessman in New Jersey filed for divorce from his wife, Ann Kelly, and stated in the court documents that the reason was because she was having an affair with rocker Bruce Springsteen! This shouldn't come as a surprise, as Bruce has been rumored to have had multiple affairs in the past. In fact, reports state he hooked up with his current wife, Patti, while he was still married to his first wife, Julianne Phillips. But, in an attempt to stop the infidelity rumors from spreading even more this time around, Bruce took to his official website to proclaim his love for his wife. Though he didn't exactly deny he had an affair. But, now, the whore in question, Ann, is speaking out and claiming the two are "just friends." However, one insider claims "There have been rumors going around the area for more than a year that they had gotten way too close after meeting at a local gym." Ann's attorney, Noel Tonneman, is speaking out in her defense. He claims, "All she wants everyone to know is that she's denying all this." Adding, "We plan to file on Monday an application to seal these records so this media circus ends." Really???? Why seal ANYTHING if there's NOTHING to hide!!!! Are they worried slutty Ann's husband will reveal more information? As for Ann's dad, a divorce lawyer, he claims his daughter and Bruce just had a "talking relationship." Riiiight. And a snotty friend of hers adds, "I've been friends with Ann for a long time, just let it be." What do U think? [Image via WENN.] |
