So maybe Nicolas Cage isn't doing so well financially, but at least he had the peace of mind to invest in some real estate. Sounds like a solid backup plan! After selling a castle in Germany to a wealthy attorney recently, Cage is unloading more properties, including homes in the Bahamas, Nevada, California, Rhode Island, and Louisiana. Situated in the Garden District, the New Orleans house boasts "six bedrooms and grounds that include a heated pool and statuary…graceful lines, marble fireplaces, plasterwork, stained glass and curved staircase are elegantly preserved." Bridget Moynahan's friends cannot keep their mouths shut! Even though Moynahan has taken the high road and has not said a word regarding the baby dramz with Gisele, friends of the model turned actress aren't letting Gisele's comments fly under the radar. "Bridget has her own life, she doesn't need to be involved in the drama of all this, and she finds it disrespectful that her son is being paraded around in front of the paparazzi when she's specifically made it a point of keeping him away from that," a friend close to Bridget revealed on Friday. "I can count on two hands, in two years, the number of times Bridget has been photographed with that baby. I can count on two hands the number of times in the past month that Gisele has been photographed with that baby," the source pointed out. Gisele isn't the only fame whore in the relationship! Moynahan's pal for sure didn't let ex-husband Tom Brady go unscathed! Said Bridget's friend, "If Tom is such a great father as everyone likes to say, then you would think that he'd respect the privacy of his young child and would ask his wife not to use his son as a publicity prop and a subject of public discussion." Rihanna is all over the place! In just a week, the beauty was spotted in Los Angeles, then she went to Hawaii for a short trip, and she was finally spotted in New York last night having dinner. Unfortunately, as they left dinner last night, the car she was in got into a small fender-bender with a car in front. Thankfully no one was hurt and Riri ended up leaving in another car while her driver took care of the accident. But, now we learn Rihanna has just landed in her hometown of Barbados! Thankfully, no Chris Brown in sight. Hard to tell where she'll be flying to next, but at least she's racked up some frequent flier miles! [Image via WENN.] |

Are Rosie O'Donnell and Star Jones all friendly now? They'd like us to believe so! Rosie admits that the two are no longer at odds with each other. According to Ro, she says "Listen, it was never a personal thing with her. We're both strong women. We're the same exact age and I admired her in the beginning and then I watched her sort of get swept away in the insanity of fame. I thought it was amazing to see her the other day on Oprah. To see her evolved into the woman that she is…I liked her. I watched her on that show and was really proud of her and happy for her." In fact, the two are even hanging out together now. Rosie admits, "We're actually having dinner next week." And we bet there will be some Barbara Walters and Elizabitch Hasselhoff shit-talking going on! We hope they slathered on lots of sunscreen. They're pale! Kelly Osbourne is enjoying herself with fiance Luke Worrall. The "variety TV star" and her model boyfriend have been on vacation in our hometown of Miami, and the two have been living it up! Just yesterday the two were snapped away while playing in the pool. Touted as "affordable" (the magic word these days!), Penney will offer promotional prices on some of the items. We love hearing about stupid criminals. And you can't get any dumber than this family! Matthew Eaton and his wife, Laura, must have thought they were some smart thieves. In fact, they even went on the Dr. Phil show last November to brag about it!!!!!!! WTF?!? The Eatons, from San Marcos, California, went on national television to brag about making over $100,000 by shoplifting and then selling their shit on eBay. Well, the imbecilic family is now under investigation by federal agents. Oh, and on the show they even included a video showing them and their three young children on a three-day shoplifting excursion. They told Dr. Phil how in just one week they made $3,500 just from selling stolen toys, adding that the thefts were "easy money." And according to the show, they've been stealing for about six years now. The couple finally got caught last week by the Secret Service and members of the San Diego Regional Fraud Task Force who searched their home and seized several of their belongings. As of yet, the Eatons haven't been arrested or charged, but they have hired an attorney to represent them. Unfortunately their attorney from the United Defense Group in Los Angeles has decided not to comment on the case. [Image via WENN.] |
