In response to the floundering economic situation, CBS is requiring all of its television shows, hits or not, to reduce their budgets if they are renewed, which means smaller writing staffs (and junkier TV?). CBS features divisions is going strong, however, with even a few additions and some flicks set to begin production soon. |

The soon-to-be longest running sitcom on television, The Simpsons, will now be marking another spot in history. The never-aging family is set to appear on postage stamps! According to the United States Postal Service, they'll be releasing five stamps featuring the Simpson family. The stamps, valued at 44-cents, will be available for preview as of April 9th. On that date, USPS will announce the actual sale date. And for those that didn't already now, the price of a stamp will soon be increasing to $0.44 starting May 11th. The artwork for the new stamps was done by The Simpsons creator, Matt Groening. |

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck aren't your typical "Hollywood" parents. They don't have the nannies go and take care of the kids or pick them up from school. They do the mom and dad thing themselves. Shocker!!!!! And just yesterday, Jennifer picked up the adorable Violet Affleck from pre-K. The two then spent some quality mommy-daughter time as they went to enjoy some frozen yogurt. Truly presh! And somewhat unheard of in the celebrity world. P.S. Well, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler have broken up…again. A source tells Us that "a nasty fight broke out at his house last night and cops were called…[when] Shanna started freaking out and acting irrational." Although no charges were filed, reps for both Shanna and Travis confirmed the split, which is said to have stemmed from an affair that Shanna allegedly had while Travis was recovering in the hospital following September's fatal plane crash. "Travis confronted Shanna about her having an affair with Gerard Butler while he was in the hospital recovering" and all hell broke loose. Moakler's rep, of course, denies the cheating rumors, and both reps said that their respective clients are tired of the publicly aired dramz. We wonder when they'll be getting back together! Such happy news to share! Lily Allen has finally said something intelligent. Turns out, Lily might be leaving the music industry soon!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!! Lily recently revealed this juicy info, while out promowhoring her second album, It's Not Me, It's You. The cigarette addict said, "After this album and tour I have a brand new business I am setting up, but I can't say what it is yet. I am definitely considering quitting music." Buh bye!!!!!!! Somehow we don't think she really cares that she's a fashion offender! Last month, Rosie O'Donnell was spotted in NYC at the opening night of the Broadway play 33 Variations, starring Jane Fonda. And, unfortunately for Rosie, she was lacking in the makeup department and wardrobe as well. Then last night, Tuesday, Ro attended the opening night for the Broadway musical Hair at the Hirschfeld Theatre. And again, she was wearing almost the same shit! This time, the dress was black, but still looked the same. And the shoes and jacket looked similar to what she wore earlier in the month. Is Rosie letting her kids dress her? Rihanna is continuing to put the pieces of her life back in order! Close friends and a few folks from RiRi's record label met up with the Princess at Giorgio's restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunday night to celebrate the singer's upcoming projects! The joyous party toasted the night away, cheering "the fact she's about to land the cover of a major fashion magazine" as well as Rihanna's latest single, Disturbia, going triple platinum and the growing possibility of the singer nabbing a role in an upcoming film! Rihanna's inner circle also tried to reiterate the importance of ditching Chris Beat Her Down for good by toasting the couple's breakup! Although some friends believe Ri will run right back to Brown, it hasn't cooled their protest. "People close to Rihanna have drilled it into her head that if she stays with Chris her career will be over," a source close to Rihanna told reporters. Thank God! While defending former VP nom Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin, and her controversial pregnancy (unwed teenaged mother), Harmon stated that "one of the greatest things about the Republican Party is the understanding, we don't point fingers and we have class."
