A Pink Dolphin!!!! Posted: 02 Mar 2009 05:15 PM PST In Lake Calcasieu, Louisiana, a wonder worthy of Hello Kitty has been discovered! A pink dolphin! We shit you not! The dolphin's "stunningly pink" color is the result of albinism, which is indicated by its red eyes as well as its pink skin. Don't worry, the dolphin is totally healthy. He's just pink! Charter boat captain Erik Rue spotted and photographed the pink dolphin, saying, "I had never seen anything like it. It's the same color throughout the whole body and it looks like it just came out of a paint booth." We wonder if the dolphin is a Perez fan? Regina Asmutis-Silvia, senior biologist with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society reminds folks to "be careful, as with any dolphins, to respect it - observe from a distance, limit their time watching, don't chase or harass it." We don't think the ganj is quite the right solution for an overactive cat!! The sergeant who rescued the stoned kitty described her as "just dazed." Sia reports in a new blog entry that their collaboration netted some great stuff! All went spectacularly well with the former Mickey Mouse-clubber. She says: she is my new best friend 02.03.09 i arrived on a sunday night and fell into bed. monday morning i discovered it was colder than i had anticipated,and shorts and shirt dresses weren't going to cut it.As the rain seeped into my converse chucks,i made a note to refer to them as 'sandals' in the future. sam (dixon) and i spent the day discussing valentines,and trying not to buy anything at all,because 'there is a recession,you know'. we were officially on call. to miss christina aguilera. HOW FUN. the week turned out 4 beautiful songs,four new mates,several new dog loves,fine dining,followed by super mario,apples to apples and a game of pool. i lost unwaiveringly. gratefully,i'm a demon at scrabble,and i've challenged her to a tournament. i can never be a better singer than her,but i sure can hope to get the word 'hexagons' on a triple word score,you feel me? i definitely pooped my pants when she first sang out loud in the room with us. little prickles stood up all over me,and marched first up,then down,then up again. when i heard 'beautiful' in david's car for the first time,i remember thinking,this is the best song i can remember hearing maybe ever,who is it? it didn't surprise me at all when he said 'christina aguilera',but it does surprise me that just a few years later,i find myself collaborating with the voice that brought that song to life. i love her. she's a nice person. More Details On The Survivor Of The NFL Boaters' Accident! Posted: 02 Mar 2009 04:00 PM PST It's being reported that Nick Schuyler, the football player rescued on Monday in the missing boaters search, had been floating in the water since Saturday afternoon!!! All four of the men were together for about 12 hours after the fishing boat capsized, but the tide drifted the friends further and further apart as time went on. How terrifying!!! Schuyler sustained minimal injuries, suffering from dehydration and a below normal body temperature, with a few cuts and bruises here and there, but was alert and aware of his surroundings at the time of his rescue. The U.S. Coast Guard have continued their search for the remaining three missing players, tripling the coverage area.
