We like Miley Cyrus' new song. We like it A LOT! It's called The Climb and it's an exquisite ballad. The tune is off the soundtrack to her new Hannah Montana movie and it's a lot more adult than anything she's ever done in the past. Her voice also sounds less annoying than usual on the song! We mentioned in December that music man Joe Satriani is alleging that Coldplay's Viva La Vida is a rip off of his song I Just Wanna Fly. Satriani asserts that the band have dodged being served his plagiarism lawsuit, but he hopes that won't be the case for much longer. He and his lawyer are planning to fill the Grammys with servers ready to pounce on Chris Martin and his fellow band mates. The lawyer repping Satriani says, "We have warned their British lawyers that we have hired a fleet of process servers lined up to dog the band everywhere they go this weekend in the hopes of serving them." He even promises to have camera crews roaming around with the process servers to get the whole thing on tape. How dramatic! [Image via WENN.] |

Carnie Wilson finally has a new job. The weight-struggling singer will be hosting GSN's revival of The Newlywed Game, which has been picked up for 40 episodes. The show will be similar to the classic, with newlyweds answering questions about each other. But, no matter how big Carnie gets, she'll never be able to fill Bob Eubanks' shoes, who hosted the original show back when it started in 1966. Carnie says, "I've always loved game shows. My personality and energy is perfect for something like this. First of all, I'm married, and I loved watching 'The Newlywed Game' when I was younger. I watched it all the time. I always hoped the couples would start fighting." The show will also feature a special bonus round where couples that appeared on one of the original episodes and remain married will compete against the newlyweds. Natalie Cole had to be hospitalized for health issues last September. The singer has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C and has been trying to battle the disease with chemotherapy. The 58-year-old Cole is currently waiting for a kidney transplant. That would help put an end to the dialysis she has to undergo three times a week! On a positive note, it seems like her son, 31-year-old Robert, may be a donor. She said during an interview on Tuesday, "My son may be a possible [donor] match. It's very sweet and kind of strange to have people offer something like that." Cole is a fighter! Despite her medical issues, she didn't let that stop her from touring worldwide the past six months. Let's hope she gets a transplant soon and recuperates quickly. P.S. Natalie used to be a hardcore druggie back in the day, which probably contributed to her health woes. [Image via WENN.] |

You must must MUST listen to this, bbs!!!!!! In our review of the Broadway-bound 9 to 5 musical, we could not stop raving about the ferociously talented Stephanie J. Block. Well, we've finally gotten our hands on her show-stopping number, Get Out And Stay Out. The song was written - both lyrics and music - by Dolly, and it is amazing. Who can't relate to what Stephanie is singing???? She kills it! Devours it! Destroys it! And serves it to the audience on a silver platter! As we previously mentioned, washed-up model Angie Everhart (Sly Stallone's ex) was dating fuggers Joe Pesci back in late 2007. Talk about an odd couple! The two were reportedly engaged but called it quits back in April. But, now, we find out the 39-year-old hasbeen is having her first child. So, what about the dad? It isn't Pesci, thankfully. Everhart says, "The dad is very nice and he's very excited about it, but we are not a couple. It's nobody you know." The best part is that she actually wants to turn her pregnancy into a reality show!!! She's currently shopping around a program called Angie Baby. She adds, "I decided to do a show about me being a single, strong, healthy and good-spirited woman who is having a baby on her own. I want to show the positive aspects of women who do it on their own." Seriously, no one cares about Everhart. Besides, having a baby to get work? How freaking lame!
