John Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, released a statement on Preston's official website on Sunday. It is the couple's first public words since the tragic and sudden death of their 16-year-old son, Jett, on Friday. They say:
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday in the Bahamas. But, by multiple accounts, Jett's death was just an unfortunate and horrible accident. Our thoughts go out to the Travoltas and their family. [Image via WENN.] |

A new report asserts that Jett Travolta suffered from autism NOT Kawasaki disease, which the Travolta's have long asserted. Autism is a condition that is apparently not 'recognized' by John Travolta's beloved Scientology religion. Followers believe that autism falls under the category of mental illnesses. They view people who suffer from mental disorders as defective human beings and teach that such 'illness' be treated through spiritual healing. They reject the use of drugs to treat mental conditions. Seizures are a common 'side effect' of autism when its left untreated. Jett was reportedly knocked off his feet by a seizure before he hit his head on bathroom fixtures and then subsequently died. Makes you say, hmmmm, right? Update: Travolta's camp is now claiming that "Jett had suffered from grand mal seizures in the past and had taken anti-seizure medicine which the Travolta's say did not work, so the medication was stopped." There's whispers that Britney Spears has been flinging with Bollywood dance expert Sandip Soparrkar, who choreographed the video for Womanizer. Yeah, this sounds like a loud of crap the British media is reporting. So take this with a grain of salt! Brit and Sandip "apparently" enjoyed a three-day Christmas break in the Indian city of Jodhpur. She was also reported to have spent New Year's Eve with him and introduced him to her parents!! Uh huh! However, Sandip's model girlfriend has spoken out and said it's all a publicity stunt. She said, "Britney did come over to India and she and Sandip went away for a few days, but it was purely professional. They were busy rehearsing. I really do wish she'd just leave us alone now." The model and choreographer have been an item for 4+ years. The catwalker claims he doesn't have a wandering eye and that BritBrit isn't his type anyway. She went on to say that the alleged hook-up was something cooked up by Brit's people. "It was Britney and her management who keep hassling Sandip to get his pictures taken with her and her dad Jamie," said the 'girlfriend'. "And one of her team even borrowed Sandip's laptop and sent out emails from Sandip's address saying that he was on a romantic break with her." If this were true, it'd be pretty hot! Tom Cruise's best friend was voted the star who generated the most box office revenue for theaters in an annual survey by Quigley Publishing Co. Earlier this week, Heather Mills' former nanny filed a claim against the one-legged blonde for 'sexual discrimination, intimidation and constructive dismissal'. In addition to her nanny duties, the ex-employee was asked to do extra things like spray tan Mucca's naked body and reporting into work at 7.30 am to blow dry the golddigger's hair. Well, sources close to Mucca report that she's currently in a 'black hole of rage'. They say she's beside herself with fury at the 'betrayal' by somebody she regarded as a close friend, at a time when she was beginning to think that the 'bad old days' were behind her. Mucca's new mouthpiece said she's 'devastated'. "For years she has treated Sara (the former nanny) as a member of the family," said the flack. If what the nanny says is true, we'd be disowned by our family members if we treated any of them that way! It's also reported that Mucca has already spent $14.5 million of the $30 million she got in the divorce from former Beatle Paul McCartney. | BiHan and saMAN Trash Hotel Room During Mayjah New Year's Day Lovers Quarrel Posted: 04 Jan 2009 09:00 AM CST
Firecrotch's insanity just can't be contained! Miami was the setting for lovers Lindsay BiHan and saMAN Ronson's electric start to the New Year. The ladies were in our hometown to host a New Year's bash at the club Mansion. And, according to multiple eyewitness reports, it was there that things took a turn for bat shizz crazy for the sapphic duo. During the NYE celebration, tension between Lindz and saMAN got so heated that they screamed at one another in full view of partygoers. The fight apparently spilled out into a bum-infested alley behind the club. A source said LezLo was "really unstable and flipping out" and screeched at saMAN, "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!" After ringing in the New Year the fighting continued on at their hotel. Several sources say they heard 'crashing sounds and screaming' coming from the lovers' room until the fight made its way out into the hall at about 11 a.m. An eyewitness said, "They were punching each other - it was bad. And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary." And, at one point, Linsanity allegedly dropped to her knees and cried, "Why are you doing this to me?" To that, Man supposedly responded, "I don't know you." WTF?!?! Hotel security eventually intervened and proceeded to take photos of the lovers' "trashed" room. "Mirrors were broken and it was a complete mess," said a snitch. Will they use their NYE "hosting" money to pay for the damages?! The fighting carried on several hours later at the airport. Before their flight took off for LA, Lohan was said to be such a mess that flight attendants asked her if she'd like to disembark!! One of Lohan's mouthpieces spoke out and said, "There was an argument - I don't know the details - but they left for LA together and it's fine." saMAN, is LezLo really worth the trouble??
