The legendary Eartha Kitt has passed away.

The showman who did a little bit of everything died of colon cancer Thursday in Connecticut.

The singer/actress - known for that legendary purr, her role as Catwoman in the Batman TV show, and her song Santa, Baby - was performing up until this summer (above).

Eartha's memory will live on!

Timbaland is coming out with a new album, and - once again - the record is brimming with some A-list superstars!

Shock Value: Volume 2, the follow-up to his 2007 release, is due in stores February 14th, and once again features his frequent collaborator Justin Timberdouche.

J.T. sing's on the album's lead single, Meltdown, alongside Gwen Stefani.

The song will be released to radio on January 5th, so expect it to leak on the Internets shortly before then.

MTV got a preview of some of the tracks, and here's what they have to report:

Meltdown
– The first single from the album, featuring guest vocals from Gwen Stefani and old-time collaborator Justin Timberlake is a typical Timbaland club-stomper, with thumping chorus in which Justin and Gwen
invite one another to 'melt down; all the way'.

That's The Way
– Featuring Usher and Keri Hilson on vocals, this throwback track samples the classic KC and the Sunshine band track, That's The Way I Like It but with a sultry new twist reminiscent of Usher's own Love In This Club single.

Dumb
– The rockiest of the tracks, featuring the group of the moment, the Jonas Brothers. Beginning as seemingly regular teenage, High School Musical-esque song, it soon
breaks out into a crazy whirl-of-a-track that is about an unnecessary break-up.

Accross The Sky
- a leftover track from Madonna's Hard Candy album, which Timbaland produced many tracks for. However, this version has been completely reworked from the original leaked clip that has appeared online. Now a much darker track similar to the Hard Candy track, Voices. With guest vocals from Justin Timberlake (again) and a brief appearance from the lady herself, Madonna, this song is longest of the tracks, clocking in at over 7
minutes!

Underground
– This one is definitely our favourite. Featuring a heavy sample of the classic dance track
Sandstorm by Darude, this is unlike anything Timbaland has done before. With incredible quest vocals from Rihanna, this song is one to watch out for. It has to be a single!

Othe guests on the album include T-Pain, Akon, Jay-Z, Linkin Park, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliot, Jordin Sparks, T.I., Flo-Rida, and Coolio.

Sounds hawt!

The Next Gilligan????

This is inspired casting!!!!!

Gilligan's Island creator, Sherwood Schwartz, and his son, Lloyd Schwartz, have signed a deal to bring the beloved sitcom to the big screen.

And the pair want the infectiously charming Michael Cera to play Gilligan.

He should SO do it!

As for the "Movie Star"? The Schwartz have their eyes set on Beyonce.

Who should round out the cast????

John C. Reilly as the Skipper????

Some Normal Holiday Shopping

Unlike Brandy, who likes to go shopping with a jacket over her face, Jason Lee from My Name Is Earl prefers to do it old school.

Lee was spotted at this year's favorite celebrity shopping spot, The Grove in Los Angeles.

Jason was there on Christmas eve day with his baby daughter who was born earlier this summer.

Wonder if he actually paid for anything or got the "free for celebrities" items?????

Michigan Goes Too Far To Prevent “Annoying” People

Posted: 25 Dec 2008 02:00 PM CST

andydickmess__opt.jpg

Talk about a double standard!

A small town in Michigan has recently passed an ordinance to prohibit any annoyance. But it seems the legislation is actually bothering the residents more than helping.

As part of the harasment ordinance, the Brighton City Council voted earlier this month to make annoying behavior an offense that is punishable by a fine of $100.

One resident said, "I think it's the most ridiculous thing in the world. And I think everyone who voted for it should be impeached."

But officials disagree. Such as Brighton Police Chief Thomas Wightman who said, "It's not an annoyance ordinance. It's a harassment ordinance."

What the fuck is a harassment ordinance????

Basically it prohibits physical violence in all public areas. It also prohibits "insulting another person in a public place or harassing another person by telephone, e-mail or other forms of communication."

Though citizens are paying attention the paragraph that reads, "It shall be unlawful for a person to engage in a course of conduct or repeatedly commit acts that alarm or seriously annoy another person and that serve no legitimate purpose."

People will now be ticketed for things like "continued neighborhood disputes, repeated text messages or ongoing harassment between ex-spouses or former boyfriends and girlfriends."

Looks like the town's officials need to pull that stick out of their butts.

"Annoyance" can be subjective and it does kind of sound like it's restricting peoples' personal rights.

What do U think?
