| Britney Makes Her Performance "Comeback" Posted: 27 Nov 2008 06:09 PM CST
Britney Spears took to the stage at the Bambi Awards in Germany on Thursday night and… She didn't suck! She wasn't great, but she wasn't embarrassing. And, considering the fact that we think she was pushed into releasing this album too quickly, she was amazing! Just remember where she was only 9 months ago. The re-arrangement of Womanizer was hot, but we definitely feel like the Britster was nervous. She was VERY stiff towards the beginning but definitely loosened up for the last 30-45 seconds. We don't mind the lipsynching - it's Britney! - but we think there wasn't enough dancing. She walked around a lot, which reminded us too much of that disastrous VMA performance in 2007. But, overall, it's nothing to be ashamed off and hopefully she'll get better as she does a few more of these! CLICK HERE to check out her performance! |

Alex Rodriguez got sticky and sweet last night! The Yankess slugger was spotted - sitting front row - at Madonna's South Florida concert on Wednesday night. We're sure he knows how to…..get into the groove! |

"Drunk driver ends up running over himself" That takes talent! CLICK HERE to read the article accompanying this headline. Drunk driver ends up running over himself A 21-year-old man was accused of driving drunk and leading police on a chase that finally ended with him running over himself. The man was treated for minor injuries at a Santa Fe hospital and booked in to the Sandoval County detention center on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, fleeing a police officer, careless driving and two other outstanding traffic warrants. A tip to the state's DrunkBuster hot line Sunday afternoon alerted authorities to a possibly drunken driver. State Police Officer Grace Romero spotted the man's pickup truck swerving across both lanes of a highway, driving slowly and then fast. He refused to stop. After narrowly missing other vehicles, police said the suspect drove through a ditch and a barbed-wire fence before stopping. He tried to put the truck into park, but it ended up in reverse. Police said the man fell from his open door and both of his legs were run over by the front driver's side tire. |

Gael Garcia Bernal and Devendra Banhart were lucky boys! Natalie Portman turned down the role of a nun in the star studded flick Doubt because she couldn't wrap her head around the concept of celibacy. So, her horny ways kept her from sharing the screen with Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman. We're sure she'll kick herself should Amy Adams, who ended up snatching the role, walk away with the best supporting Oscar. [Image via WENN.] |

The new Tragic Kingdom is being presided over by rock 'philanthropist' Bob Geldof! Sir Bob's other daughter, 18-year old Pixie, attended the British Fashion Awards on Tuesday in a horrific get up. Mesh steel booby covers and lucite heels? And, what yeti did she skin for that jacket. Attention seeking much? Is little Pixie on the same eff up road as her older sister, Peaches? Looks that way to us! [Image via Getty Images.] |
| Cheat on Your Spouse in South Korea and You Could Go to Jail! Posted: 27 Nov 2008 09:50 AM CST
Hardcore! A South Korean actress named Ok So-ri admitted to an affair with a singer and now her husband is demanding that she be jailed. The crazy thing is that there's a law in the country's book that could make hubby's wish a reality! She could go to jail for up to two years!! The actress has called for the law to be over turned but on Wednesday, prosecutors filed motions in support of her jilted husband. Reuters reports that South Korea enacted its adultery law more than 50 years ago to protect women who had few rights in the male-dominated society. But, critics say now it is a draconian measure no longer fit for a country with an advanced civil and family court system. Hollywood must be so glad that California doesn't have South Korea-esque laws. Half the town would be subject to jail time! [Image via PacificCoastNews.com.] |
